08:04 AM ET 07.31 | Terrell Thomas had finally made it back. And now, he's gone -- and may not return. The Giants corner suffered a right knee injury "involving the ACL," the Giants said, and it's one that could put his once-promising career in jeopardy. A source familiar with the injury said Thomas likely has a partial tear of the ACL, an injury that likely ends his 2012 campaign before it even got started. According to the Giants, the next step is to consult with Dr. Arthur Ting, the physician who handled Thomas' two previous ACL injuries. ... [Thomas] practiced Sunday, and then arrived Monday morning with heavy swelling in his right knee, and was immediately taken to the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan for testing. The injury was confirmed early Monday.

Giants are truly snakebit in the defensive backfield. Almost everyone they've drafted over the last 5-6 years has been injured.

I know, it's pretty astounding. But they do it by compensating with a very effective pass rush. The years they don't even make the playoffs are when the pass rush is ineffective and the secondary gets burned to a crisp.

I wonder how much the spambots contribute to this web site sucking

And that is why they drafted a CB in the first round last year and one in the third round this year. Ya just cannot have enough of them. If you can get to the QB soon enough and often enough you can hide a lot of sins in a defensive backfield.
