08:06 AM ET 07.31 | Beanie Wells is inactive, Ryan Williams is being held back and Javarris James has been slowed. "Yeah, what you worry about is if you get one more (injury)," head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Monday. "Then we're pretty thin." Ah, but Whisenhunt said he just might have a secret weapon up his sleeve until Wells, Williams and James are ready to go, full time. "We may unleash the Shermanator," Whisenhunt said, referring to second-year fullback Anthony Sherman. "But we'll see. We're kind of holding that in our back pocket. If we need it, we'll pull it out." The Cardinals are down to three healthy running backs. ... [Another] injury may make them pursue one of the available veteran free agents still on the market.

Maybe it's too old school but I think that a lot of teams are failing to effectively embrace the full back like they used to do. The one-two speed-power punch that they use isn't too far off but a great running and blocking FB is so damned effective.

RB, QB...doesn't matter. Going nowhere fast!

When discussing the Cardinals, you can stop right there.

That ownership has never helped them out. They get to hang their hat on bringing in Warner who got them to the SB but haven't done anything since.

They locked up Kevin Kolb with a long-term contract. Oh, wait. Yeah, I see your point.

Kolb probably got the money they should have paid Warner.

Having Larry Fitzgerald and no one to get him the ball should be punishable by 4th place in the NFC West.

How come Andy Reid didn't win an ESPY for the best used car salesman in the NFL?

And talk about frustrating. Fitzgerald is such a class act. He needs to go to a team who can and will take full advantage of his talent.

Because David Stearn had issue with it. He blocked that deal, too.

I don't know, Andy must have a RB or FB laying around somewhere.

watch Andy run over to the used parts department.

Whisenhunt going to the owner: "Hey, we're pretty thin at running back, any chance of bringing someone in just to take some reps during camp?'

Bidwell, taking out coin purse and jingling it, makes a face. 'I don't know... I was going to get a soda this afternoon... We have to keep within our budget... I don't think this wouldn't be prudent.'

Cards need a balanced attack, they give up on the running game too soon in the game!

Not under his couch. I looked, and there's nothing but a 12-inch I-beam.

It's bad enough with no QB, but they have to show up on the HOF game too?

I thought Andy bought one of the wharehouses at the old Navy yard to open his "Scratched and dented NFL Players" store
