08:09 AM ET 08.01 | It's nice to have options, and that's where we find unrestricted free agent small forward C.J. Miles these days. [Miles] has narrowed his options down to a few teams, a league source told The Salt Lake Tribune on Tuesday, and the longtime Jazzman is drawing serious interest from the Los Angeles Lakers. The 6-foot-6, 222-pound Miles could make a decision during the next 2-3 days. If he signs with the Lakers, the source said, it'll likely be a one- or two-year deal via Los Angeles' mini mid-level exception. Miles, 25, has already met with Dallas and Cleveland since free agency started July 1. He averaged 8.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.3 assists for Utah from 2005-12, playing in 389 games (159 starts).

Miles is really nothing special, he offers good size and solid athleticism but he's never been able to develop a reliable jump shot and is an awful rebounder...All in all decent rotation guy who won't see much of the floor come playoff time

The Lakers seem to be moving forward in trying to put together some solid players in Meeks, and Miles and possibably Howard ............this is what happens when you play for an ogranization or organizations such as the Lakers, Celtics and now off late, the Heat. Its particularly distrubing when we have a moron or morons more specifically in Dolan and his Indiana henchmen hanging around destroying the Knicks. I cannot stomach this. I'm a diehard and like the Spinners say "I'll be around"!

Could have been but there was no room for him. He could help a lot of teams but he will be just another Luke for the Lakers.

There is only one Luke...

6'6" is small for a small forward? I disagree.
