08:04 AM ET 08.02 | John Mara may have looked banged up, but he was ready to spar. [Mara] walked through the cafeteria at training camp [Wednesday] with a bandage on his forehead. Before he could be asked what had happened, he already had his answer ready. "You should see what Jerry Jones looks like," he said with a grin, pointing to the afflicted area. Later, appearing on ESPN Radio in New York, the Giants owner said that he had not yet heard the infamous Jones line where he tells Cowboys fans to come watch his team "beat the Giants' [butts]." "I have been so caught up in the Tebow coverage that I haven't had time for anything else," Mara said. As far as combination punches go, that was a pretty good one. Two rivals, two quick jabs. Bang, bang.

Heyo!

August 2, 2012  08:10 AM ET

Maybe Mara should get Jerry's plastic surgeon's name and number.

Advantage Mara. Both on and off the field.

Sooner will be good so they can get a real GM!

Now the pencil pushers are talking ****? What's next, oil wrestling in the steno pool?

August 2, 2012  08:59 AM ET

Well played, Mr. Mara.

Now onto the real news. The season can't start soon enough.

I'm waiting for the Dallas Cheerleaders to display their assets. That's something the Giants can't match.

(Although I hear that Eli has quite the collection of Mardi Gras beads....)

JJ needs to step down as GM, he has no clue how to evaluate talent. The Super Bowls in the 90's were all Jimmy Johnson.

A nice poke at the J-E-T-S and Jerry Jones, all rolled up in one.

Get over it all ready. JJ owns the the team, the staduim, the cheerleaders, and the beer taps. Until he's dead he's going to do just what he wants. All the complaining in the world can't change that. Be it Jimmy Johnson or Peter Fricking Pan Jerry hired him and has three rings to show for it. At last count Johnson only has two. They don't give those thing away for being the most popular girl at the dance.

Apparently, the Browns have been officially sold to that "1,000 percent Steeler fan".
