08:22 AM ET 08.02 | Jalen Rose may be having a change of heart. During an interview with WJR's Frank Beckmann on Wednesday, the former Michigan basketball star said he's not turning his back on the school he once played for -- and he's hopeful the Fab Five will be fully embraced in Ann Arbor once again. "I really like Mary Sue Coleman, the president of Michigan, I love (athletic director) Dave Brandon, I still support the university," Rose said. "Dave Brandon feels that there is a way to still honor what our teams brought to the table, and it's up to him to decide how he's going to do it. ... "I do think the University of Michigan is going to do the right thing in 2013 and find a way to honor what we helped bring to the table."

They got deep pockets at Michigan....they paid them well. Just to bad they couldn't teach one of them to count timeouts.

Rose said. "Dave Brandon feels that there is a way to still honor what our teams brought to the table..."

You mean sanctions and probation? Yeah, lets honor that.

They were an outstanding bunch of players who reached The NCAa Finals 2 Years in a row that's something the pretty hard to do, the 89 Team Won it all! They payed in 91-92 92-93, the never stayed to finish the job, what's to Honor UNLV reached the finals 2 Years in a row, and won one championship, I don't hear Larry Johnson asking for a day of Honor! Get Real!

Just to put it in a nutshell, how ironic is it that a guy who was part of a group of players paid to play taks about Michigan doing the "right thing"? Jalen's probably the best of the bunch, but he should just shut his mouth and be happy that he had a decent career and has a good job.
