Weis shakeup already in full swing

08:26 AM ET 08.02 | Charlie Weis isn't afraid to upset the apple cart, and, as promised, he has kicked off his first fall camp at Kansas by issuing a depth chart loaded with new names. Some of these players have yet to perform a drill under Weis' watch. Some just arrived on campus, and some are still taking classes at various junior colleges. Weis will see many of these players for the first time when KU opens practice Thursday, so their places on the depth chart reflect a degree of deductive reasoning. "I've seen the other guys play," Weis said. That's not a blanket assessment of KU's returning talent, because veteran players occupy some prominent positions on the Jayhawk depth chart. But KU will integrate newcomers at several other spots.

That is a lot of mass to get in "full swing". Although I am not one to talk I have put on my "freshman 15" many times over as I have aged. But I will say that my wife would kick my **** if I walked out of the house in a pair of pants that fit me like his do.
