08:28 AM ET 08.02 | The Alabama-LSU rivalry extends well beyond the field, including to the high-stakes game of recruiting. Alabama lost one of its long-time Class of 2013 commits to LSU recently when lineman Andy Dodd flipped from the Crimson Tide to the Tigers. Now Nick Saban is trying to return the favor by luring away one of LSU's top commitments, four-star athlete Jeryl Brazil. The Loranger, Louisiana native recently took an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa where he received a scholarship offer from Saban. ... Brazil is considered one of the fastest prospects in the Class of 2013, a status recently backed up by his 4.32 second forty-yard dash at Nike's The Opening. Despite being committed to LSU since last October, Brazil said he remains open to looking at other schools.
