08:48 AM ET 08.04 | Jets coach Rex Ryan bit his tongue so much yesterday, he'll probably need stitches. Ryan refused to take the bait when asked about President Barack Obama's criticism of the Jets' acquisition of quarterback Tim Tebow. "I respect President Obama and I respect the fact that this is his opinion," Ryan said. That's it? No one-liner? No promise to see him in the Rose Garden? "That's it. I'm not taking the layup and all that jazz," Ryan said. Asked if he'll remind Obama of what he said if the Jets win the Super Bowl and he receives a call from Obama, Ryan showed restraint. "I can't go there with my president's comments because we know I haven't seen him yet," he said. Some of Ryan's players were more vocal. "He shouldn't be [worried]," cornerback Antonio Cromartie said. "We don't have a two-quarterback system. We have a one quarterback system, and that's with Mark. "He shouldn't be worried, the Jets fans shouldn't be worried at all." Guard Matt Slauson was even more direct. "He doesn't play football with the Jets," Slauson said. He then gave a no comment when asked if he would vote for Obama.

Hopefully, if the Jets win the next Super Bowl, Ryan will be getting a call from President Romney.

Romney? Careful what you wish for. Of course as usual, the election won't be so much about voting for who you like as voting for who makes you vomit less.

LOL, yeah blame the President if your team doesn't win!!!! All the President said was: "I gotta tell you, I don't like the idea of a quarterback controversy at the start of a season," Obama said. "So if I was a Jets fan, I'd be pretty nervous." Now that was just his opinion and I have to tell you, they are quite a few fans on FN that have the same opinion!!!!!!!!!!!

For ratings sake, I think Fox would prefer Obama.

Maybe Barack Obama should spend more time talking to business owners to find out how to fix the economy. He certainly does not know how to do it.
