09:08 AM ET 08.05 | Derek Jeter is known as a ladies' man, but he can also be a lone wolf. The Yankee shortstop -- spotted last Monday flirting with model Hannah Davis at Double Seven -- spent Thursday alone, taking in Mike Tyson's new Spike Lee-directed Broadway show, "Undisputed Truth." Jeter was seen on a night off from the diamond arriving to the new play solo with a single ticket and leaving the theater by himself.

apparently so.....although I would've liked the post to give a bit more info on what he was wearing and what the name of his cab driver was

I'm more interested in Hannah.

As a Yankee fan since 1960 , Jeter makes me want to puke during games. I hate all the back slapping with opposing players and smiles and buddy buddy BS he pulls whenever a player from the opposing team is near him.
King Felix made him look stupid last night and then with one out to go in a 1-0 game he crosses the mound and plays buddy buddy with him?
If I am on his team or the catcher that did not throw that runner out at second I am totally pi##ed at him. And if I am the pithcer who just gave up a double to some guy while Jeter congrats him and back slaps him with that silly grin, I rip him a new a##hole in the dugout.

I hear you, and agree.....but its a generational thing....all these guys share agents, endorsers, trainers, etcthey all do each others charity events in the off seasonno one 'hates' the other guys anymore- which is what made rivalries what they are. Felix hit THREE yankees last week and broke arods hand and there was no retaliation?? its a joke

I must be the same generation as 50Yearfan, but you put a good perspective on the situation for me. I don't think Felix was actually trying to hit people, just had instructions to pitch inside--he looked upset when he hit ARod especially. It still needs some retaliation/reminder that both teams can pitch inside, but a 1 run game isn't the time to do it. Yanks need all the wins they can get, not get distracted by anything.

the point is not that he 'tried' to hit them or not-he hit them- and he hit their 'stars'......and he broke arodyou MUST retaliate or he keeps pitching inside...you also must retaliate or other teams do the same damn thing and NY is known as a team that you can pitch inside to without repercussion. It puts (it has put) NY at a disadvantage for YEARS-Boston has been doing that to us for a DECADE

Agreed...............Plunk the first hitter..............

I think Iwakuma is starting today, should be a little more scoring going on, at least by the Yanks.

Jeter and Arod get hit all the time, mostly in the hand or wrist. Most times the pitch isn't even that far inside. They both crowd the plate and dive into the ball, especially Jeter. I remember Pedro hitting Jeter in the hand on an ESPN game, and K zone showed that the pitch was actually in the strike zone. Youkilis did the same thing and also got hit often.

I suppose you are right. I hate it though. Buddy up before the game. It is insulting to your team to congrat the other guy during a game.
Wonder how Jeter would feel if after he strikes out or hits into one of his many DPs if a team mate of his patted the other pitcher on the a## and told him "nice pitch?"

True. Hey, hitters think they can dig in so they do. Drysdale and Gibson had a cure for that. If it ain't at your head or behind you, then all is fair.
