09:41 AM ET 08.05 | Pistons fans have wondered over the whereabouts of Ukrainian center Slava Kravtsov all summer. Folks are eager for Kravtsov, who signed with the Pistons early last month, to join the team and become a part of its off-season program. But Kravtsov, 24, had a prior commitment, one that will be apparent later this month. Kravtsov is with his national team as it begins preparations for EuroBasket 2013 qualifiers. The Ukrainians will host Hungary on Aug. 15 in their first game. So you will have to wait a little to see Kravtsov around the Detroit area. The 7-footer is expected to provide shot-blocking and rebounding for the Pistons.

QUOTE(#2):

NBA media is flip-flopping more than Dwight HowardMike Bianchi, SPORTS COMMENTARYLet's review the media's performance as the endless Dwightmare continues in Orlando:Last week, it was being reported by many in the media that a Magic deal with Brooklyn was imminent and Dwight Howard would end up playing with the Nets. This week, it has been reported that a Magic deal with L.A. is imminent and Dwight will end with the Lakers.Good grief, ESPN's NBA "insiders" couldn't even get their stories straight. Early on Thursday, one ESPN insider ??? Chris Broussard ??? said he had sources that Dwight had agreed to sign a long-term contract with the Lakers if the Magic traded him to L.A. Later in the day, Ric Bucher, another ESPN insider, had quotes from Dwight's agent, Dan Fegan, that seemed to refute Broussard's report.Meanwhile, in Orlando, Channel 6's David "Ping" Pingalore reported that sources told him a deal to send Dwight to the Lakers was imminent and all that needed to be done was the "crossing of the T's and the dotting of I's." A few days later, Ping reported that, well, Dwight may actually end up with the Rockets. I guess Ping's strategy is that if he reports enough different trade partners, he will eventually be right. Then again, in today's anonymously-sourced, Twitter-driven media world, getting it first has become more important than getting it right. The media's walls these days are a disgusting mess from all the stuff that has been thrown against them, hoping beyond hope that something ultimately sticks.

No one flip flops more than Dwight Howard.......
