Turner: Rookie LB 'going to be really special'

It was just one play in practice, but it's the kind of thing the Chargers have seen a lot of in training camp from their first-round draft pick, who's stood out with his athleticism, physicality and still-raw instincts. ... The 23-year-old will make his NFL debut at the team's preseason opener Thursday against the Packers. It'll be the Chargers' first chance to turn the rookie loose, as even during camp's contact practices, the team pulls players' reins somewhat in the interest of player health. "I think he's going to be really special," coach Norv Turner said. "He's got a very physical presence."
