10:08 AM ET 08.07 | After a tough summer on the blue line that included the retirement of Nicklas Lidstrom and the departure of Brad Stuart, Detroit is slated to open camp with Niklas Kronwall, Kyle Quincey, Ian White, Jonathan Ericsson, Jakub Kindl and Brendan Smith. General manager Ken Holland has acknowledged that he needs to add more to the blue line. The likely scenarios are to make a trade or gamble on a free agent. Among possible free agents the Wings could roll the dice on are Michal Rozsival, Brett Clark and Carlo Colaiacovo. Rozsival, who turns 34 on Sept. 3, has been plagued by injuries the past few seasons. He has 64 goals and 196 assists in 756 career games with the Penguins, Rangers and Coyotes.
