But I do like the headline with a picture of a guy on a Flyers' jersey

I like the Blue Jackets D corp... good mix of young guys and vets, with some O upside.

While there is no superstar on O, I think the depth is as good as it has ever been.

I agree the goaltending situation is something to be concerned about. I don't see 30th - but hey, if that what it takes to get Priest and Howson both fired, I'm all for it

The Preds defections continue, and while Rinne and Weber are All-Stars, I do not see their O as any better than Columbus'

Chicago - interesting team, are they on the way back up, or down?

The Blues - Hitchcock is a very good coach, history has proven that, as well as his name on the Cup. That is right up until the team tunes him out - see Dallas, Philly, and Columbus.

I don't see Columbus making the PO, but I see improvement in the Central

Not hard to exceed expectations when there are none. I hope the Jackets surprise folks with a decent year...............they've had a tough time for a while. Been there, done that. No fun.

I agree with you there. Its one thing to come in, in the middle of the season when things are tanking, get everyone to believe in a new system and take them to the playoffs. I'm not so sure they didn't start tuning him out in the playoffs. I don't look for the Blues to do near as well this year.

I'll still hit up a half dozen games this year but with the expectation that goals will be hard to come by.

Thats ok with me though because if they can get the top pick in next years draft that could address their O issues.
