One QB taking over race at UCLA?

08:25 AM ET 08.09 | UCLA coach Jim Mora insists he prefers to wait out the first two weeks of preseason camp before settling officially on a starting quarterback against Rice. "I still have nine days," Mora said after Tuesday's practice at Cal State San Bernardino. Redshirt freshman Brett Hundley might have made Mora's decision a bit easier with a sharp performance Tuesday, especially in the day's final two-minute drills, when he showed an uncanny confidence for his age. Hundley marched the team crisply down the field on his first two-minute drive, finishing if off with a short touchdown pass to Johnathan Franklin. On his second, he capped a five-play drive with a 51-yard touchdown pass to Darius Bell. "He's just kind of unflappable," Mora said.

UCLA still pays football? I thought they were a once every four year basketball school? I am thinking they would be much better off using their football schollies on beach volleyball players?
