08:23 AM ET 08.10 | Lou Lamoriello is hopeful that a change of scenery will do Bobby Butler some good. Butler had only six goals and 10 assists in 56 NHL games in 2011-12 after putting up 10 goals and 11 assists in 36 NHL games with the Senators in 2010-11. He also had 22 goals and 11 assists in 47 AHL games with the Binghamton Senators in 2010-11 and helped the team in the Calder Cup with 13 goals and 14 assists in 23 playoff games. ... Said Lamoriello: "[Butler's college coach] I had at Providence. So, we know enough about him. He signed a two-way [contract], so we'll just see what develops, but he has the potential of being a top-six forward." Lamoriello hopes a second chance for Butler will allow him to rediscover his scoring touch.

He signed a two way contract. He has the POTENTIAL. And he also said wether he plays in the AHL or NHL is up to his camp. That is a real heavy label.
