08:08 AM ET 08.13 | Cut by the Dolphins, Chad Johnson is now available -- but teams may shy away from the recently arrested wideout. Could the Jets make a play for him? This much I can tell you: The chances of that happening are remote. ... Don't be surprised if the Jets add a veteran before the start of the regular season. Some of the top free agents are: Lee Evans -- Released Sunday by the Jaguars. Plaxico Burress -- Doesn't make sense; been there, done that. Roy Williams -- Former Cowboy still looking for a job. Greg Camarillo -- Makes the most sense. He's familiar with Tony Sparano's system, having played under him in 2008 and 2009 with the Dolphins. Mark Clayton -- Really?

oh that would be perfect. please bring Chad in for a visit. Cromartie could tell him how to stay out of trouble but the child support is a killer!

Surely would complete the circus.

Jets looking for WR, but not Johnson

This will be the #1 thread today. With a title like this... no brainer.

August 13, 2012  08:17 AM ET

Ocho - behind the 8-Ball again.

August 13, 2012  08:28 AM ET

Chad couldn't catch a ball thrown by Tom Brady. Imagine what it would look like if he had to try to catch a pass from Mark/Tim.

He needs a condom for the only route he can figure out.

Funny how these guys burry themselves in their holes, once they finally get the attention on them, they DON'T want.

Yep he would be a perfect fit.......big mouth Rex,big mouth Chad, that would be great.

August 13, 2012  08:50 AM ET

Next thing you know they will be asking Tebow to lose weight to be a receiver.

August 13, 2012  09:06 AM ET

Ochostinko is THE perfect fit for the Jets: every circus needs a head clown. They already have a fat ringmaster, bearded woman (Sanchez), strong man (Tebow), several Divas, and head breeder. Cue up "Bring on the Clowns" when they take the field!

He could be the Indian Rubber Man.

And Chad could explain the concept of birth control to Antonio as they carpooled their kids to day care.

Don't the Jets suck?

Plax being brought in by Pats today for a look.....Williams would be the better choice than Cammarillo...Williams would give them some size....Cammarillo would be another small receiver...Jets have plenty of those already....

QUOTE(#18):

I love all this attention a most likely 8-8 or worse team is getting.....but hey, attention is better than winning

I see another 9-7 year.....just like the defending champs...
