Oregon offense finds an even higher gear

08:22 AM ET 08.13 | Chip Kelly has found a way to squeeze even more out of his Ducks. Oregon's famed rapid-fire, no-huddle offense has received yet another tune-up, at least in practice. Kelly said Saturday that by splitting the team into two practice sections of offense vs. defense the Ducks have been able to rattle off between 170-180 plays per practice. That's up from about 120 last year. "We've increased our reps dramatically and it pays off because more people are involved in practice," Kelly said. It also helps develop depth and goes a long way toward conditioning the players. ... When opposing teams huddle, it allows for a bit of rest but also seems strange, according to [Ifo Ekpre-Olomu]. "Sometimes it feels like the game is going so slow compared to practice."

"This gear shift says 1-7."

"It goes to 11 on mine."

Considering their Sugar Daddy's Nike connection, they're actually doing shoe durability studies for the Mother Company. Has nothing to do with actual football results.

Why in the hell would Chip Kelly go to Texas to be the next head coach of the Longhorns??? Hell he has it made in Oregon, as he is stealing most of the good recruits from Texas!!!! :-)
