Wild hold 'cash call' for Suter, Parise bonuses

08:26 AM ET 08.13 | No matter the state of the game, it's going to be a good week for Minnesota's big-ticket signings. [The Wild] have to pay $10 million bonuses by Saturday, Aug. 18, to each of the star free agents they signed in July, Zach Parise and Ryan Suter. With those bonuses due, a little birdie says, virtually all of the Wild's 11 limited partners last week agreed to commit to a total capital call of $10 million. Principal partner Craig Leipold is expected to fund the remaining $10 million. ... If there is a NHL lockout -- the league's labor contract expires Sept. 15 -- Wild investors could be asked to commit to another cash call. That could occur as early as November.
