08:02 AM ET 08.14 | After taking some time away on paternity leave, Titus Young resumed his head-turning camp for the Lions. Young dominated one-on-one drills Monday, creating yards of separation with every cornerback he faced. He ran deceptive routes, showed good speed and caught seemingly every pass thrown his way. While [Jim Schwartz] chalked up some of that performance to fresh legs -- "I think what you're seeing here is a case of him being gone for 72 hours," he said -- Young has been making defensive backs look bad all training camp. ... He was clearly exhausted after a long practice and whirlwind few days, but he gleamed when talk turned from football to fatherhood.

Scwartz looks like a prick, doesn't he ?

So, what's going to happen when Megabucks Megatron drops to being the #2 receiver, and Young wants a bigger contract than him as a result?

This is the year for Young to show he can actually produce for 16 games and not just be someone with 'potential.'

Training camp star. Big deal. Do it in games. If he does, with the double coverage Johnson demands, he could be huge for Detroit.

I see "breakout" and Lions in the heading and automatically thought of a prison break.....

August 14, 2012  11:06 AM ET

All this versus the worse secondary in the NFL, he is Pro Bowl bound, NOT!

August 14, 2012  11:08 AM ET

They need to get some defensive help first..............

August 14, 2012  11:09 AM ET

Is he that good or are the Lion's cornerbacks just that bad?

August 14, 2012  11:30 AM ET

Getting yards of separation and burning the Lions' CB is no feat, that secondary could be burned by practice squads.
