Wolverines could catch USC in hyped race

08:17 AM ET 08.14 | The Wolverines still have a shot at No. 1 in the eyes of college recruiting experts. In fact, Michigan's group was No. 1 in the country until USC passed them recently. Would it be possible for U-M move back to the top spot? USC's class is limited in size -- to 18 prospects -- by NCAA sanctions, so barring any decommitments, the composition of their 2013 group is not likely to change. Michigan is currently 496 points behind the Trojans in the Rivals.com team rankings with 2,607 total points. ... Landing both [five-star running back Derrick Green and wideout Laquon Treadwell] would still leave Michigan a hefty 259 points behind the Trojans. However, the Rivals.com player rankings will be updated soon.

Let's see it on the field. Can't we just start the season this weekend and, people, just play some football?? I'm close to having an anxiety attack...dreaming of Trojan victories and Buffalo stampedes and Cowboy action and The Trees growing and the Zoomies zooming and The Tide running blood red, and the Buckeyes bucking (if that's what buckeyes do?). And now the daughter hooked a Longhorn, so that oughtta fuel a few fires in the USC family this year. So fight on college football, best wishes old friend, and get here NOW!

The article fail to mention want the winner got, a trip to Disneyland or rental cars for all for a weekend.
