08:11 AM ET 08.15 | Over the course of his career, Jim Boeheim has seen more than his share of talent. In 36 years of coaching, Boeheim has made 29 NCAA tournament appearances, been to three Final Fours and served on a USA Basketball coaching staff 12 times. Of all the basketball players he has seen, LeBron James may be the best. Talking about LeBron on ESPN Radio, Boeheim said: "He's a leader. He gets on the court, he tells people what to do ... this guy can guard five (positions) ... put him on anybody, he can guard him. I always felt Michael Jordan was the best player I've ever seen ... I didn't think it was close ... and I'm not so sure anymore .. this guy is 6-9, 260 pounds and he's getting better."

LBJ is bigger, faster and may have more raw talent......But the NBA is 80% mental And in that department it isn't close

But LBJ seems to be closing the gap in the mental department. I've got "Lebron-hate" in my blood and was still more than impressed with the Year of Lebron. This hombre's focus is much better than in years past.

Great ST..........Just posting for a few minutes before I head out for my workout........I have put on a few pounds since retirement and I don't want that to become a habit.....

How are you ???

There is SOME truth to this. 'Bron has started to prove his critics wrong (myself included). While his talent was nevr in question, his willingness to come back from a finals defeat, and pretty much bully his team through the playoffs and finals is highly commendable.
Let's be honest, Wade was mostly a non-factor during playoffs, and Bostrich was hurt. So it was mainly 'bron leading the charge.

Now can he keep that up year in and year out is something to watch for.
Not close to MJ yet, but he now has all the ingredients to try and become one.

I am doing well. Just sitting here at work, drinking a cup of coffee...getting ready to start my day.

Jordan when young, was as athletic as James. I am not too sure whether James can keep his athleticism when he is 33. Will James be able to dominate at that age?
And when we are comparing them, are we comparing a 27 years old Jordan to a 27 years old James?

Here we go again with those James Jordan comparisons!

I would only say this... if Lebron won that title in Cleveland, then... and only then.. u can start with comparing him to the GOAT... but he didnt... soo... it's really no comparision....
