08:28 AM ET 08.15 | Missouri head coach Frank Haith didn't need a regular season game to get hot under the collar. [Haith] lost faith in the officials working his team's exhibition game in Amsterdam over the weekend. The Tigers were drubbing the Dutch National Team's under-24 squad in the third quarter Saturday when freshman Stefan Jankovic caught an elbow in the head. The officials didn't call a foul. Haith protested. The officials ejected him. Furious, Haith pulled his team off the court and decided to move on to the next stop on his team's five-game European tour. "In my mind I was just fearful for the safety of our players, but in retrospect I wish I had let our team play it out and learn from the adversity," Haith said.

This didn't reflect well on Missouri. Knowing that I'm gonna catch hell for my over-the-top personal snit, I've spun out this drivel about fear for the Mizzou athletes' safety. Maybe, the AD and Prez want smack my hind end as hard if I stick to this player safety angle."

Then again they were in Amsterdam. There are alot better things to do there then play b-ball.

They don't serve "foreigners" anymore. Coffee Houses are for Dutch citizens only.
