If the lockout is confirmed, Joe Thornton (33 years, San Jose Sharks) and Rick Nash (28 years, New York Rangers) would return in the Grisons. The president of HCD Gaudenz Domenig confirmed the "Sudostschweiz". This bet is not new from the most successful club in Switzerland. In 2004/2005, the NHL season was canceled altogether. Davos was then "recovered" Thornton, Nash and Hagman. The three North American stars had greatly contributed to the conquest of the national title. ... This possibility could shake up the LNA. Davos is for now the only club to have openly targeted a lockout.

Back when I worked hourly driving forklifts, our union went on strike.

Of course I got stuck with endless shifts of picket duty fighting for the cause.

And all the tradesman packed up and went east to Alberta or wherever to work.

Leaving the rest of us Chets to live on strike pay.

Didn't seem right to me then. Doesn't seem proper to me now.
