08:21 AM ET 08.17 | Without a formal announcement, a read between the lines has many believing Brian Kelly has made his decision. Kelly, when asked if he'd still characterize sophomore Everett Golson as "a heart attack," as the coach did following a pulsating/hair-pulling Blue-Gold Game performance, Kelly's response contained this nugget: In 126 throwing opportunities for Golson in the 15 practice sessions to date of August training camp, the man who began last spring most likely as option No. 4 in a four-quarterback race has thrown one interception. ... Golson took most of the practice snaps at QB Thursday morning in team periods during the one-hour media viewing window. Junior Andrew Hendrix took roughly 30 percent and mostly with the second-teamers.

When will the Irish catch on? Losing the pure gold dome is losing the ND mojo and losing games. Already lost in the mental haze caused by the disastrous clover leaf design of last year, the entire program is in jeopardy of a dimensional shift into the lost realm of shadows.

Muck up the unis all you want, fellahs, but get your gold domes on!

Didn't quite hit the halfway line on the helmet. Guess the helmet represents 8-4 or is it 4-8?

Honestly, I don't expect a Maryland-2011 season from the Irish. Besides, I couldn't stand Domers cryin' in their beers all season long.
