08:23 AM ET 08.20 | Still without an official announcement from Chris Petersen, more than a little writing appears on the wall. Junior Joe Southwick is the starter. That much was evident to everyone in attendance Saturday night, even if no one from Boise State is ready to make any announcements less than two weeks away from the season opener at Michigan State. Southwick, a 6-foot-1, 187-pounder from Danville, Calif., took every snap with the first-string offense in the first half. He sat out the second half, except for one possession of red-zone drills -- two real clear signs that he is No. 1. ... [Sophomore Grant Hedrick] took every snap with the second offense before a brief intermission.

As long as they don't have a big drop off on defense they will still be very tough.

I am hoping that Boise lost its offensive mastermind...

Why would you say that???? Florida is never going to leave the State to play Boise, but, if Florida were to ever come to Boise, they could both wear blue jerseys and play on a blue field. LOL.

That would not be easy on the eyes. Emergency rooms would fill up with people suffering from seizures.

LOL, yeah but Oregon wears the green jerseys and play on a green field. I guess Oregon can also send people to the emergency rooms, suffering from seizures. :-)
