08:06 AM ET 08.21 | Andy Reid took a rarely seen -- for him, anyway -- sideline approach Monday night. Standing on the sideline, his face as red as his hair, in the face of one of his players, screaming. Reid and veteran defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, a Pro Bowl alternate and Super Bowl winner with the Packers, engaged in a very public shouting match on the sidelines during the second quarter. ... "Listen, it's an emotional game," Reid said. "He was fired up. I was fired up. Those things happen. Cullen is my primary leader on that defensive line. I count on him for a lot of things. He was upset, and I was upset. We talked about it afterward, and we're OK."

Cullen Jenkins and Andy Reid face to face? Yeah, right. If they were belly-to-belly, their faces would be about 8 feet apart.

Andy is probably still dealing with his loss and it's hard to temper emotions sometimes.

Vick was knocked out of the game last night, but x-rays on his ribs showed nothing broken.

Andy is looking more like Wilfrid Brimley every day.

it is speculation but you can't help but think it had something to dso with it. Watching andy Reid now for over a decade we (philly fans) have never seen him have an outburst like that - EVER. Perosanally I was glad to see it. Reid too often takes the blame for players not performing to standard. While that buys him respect from most players, I do feel other players can take advantage of this attribute.

True - by the way did anyone here Dimeco Ryans comments when being interviewed on the sideline later in the game? He was asked about the innicedent and he said Andy Reaid over reacted, it's only preseason. While I agree preseason is horrible waste of time, it scares me that a player thinks he can simply turn intensity on and off.

I would put the over/under for games played by Vick at 9 . The guy has got to learn to protect himself.

I try to stay away from ESPN unless I have to watch a scheduled game for one of my Philly teams, but they have even ruined Monday Night Football! I loved Gruden as a coach, but just like every ESPN pundit/analysist, they just get annoying! Gruden praised almost every player on the field last night comparing them to any Hall of Famer he could think of. Then he and Tirico started talking about their fantasy draft picks and how they'll fair during the season?? The channels has idiots like Skip Bayless, Steven A Smith, and a laundry list of other people in the industry that I just cant stand anymore. ESPN has turned into MTV, it aint what it used to be!

Come on people -- thats the Coaches job ... if your not working the way your supposed to, the coach needs to get in your A-$-$ !!!

To attribute a rare outburst from Andy Reid to his son's death is beyond speculation. The bottom line is that you have no **** idea.

I agree with you but it doesn't mean we cant discuss that as a possibility.

I saw my first game the other day with Gruden in the booth. Don't like him at all. Not even a little. Especialy his lame Anidots about Al Davis. I think he was making them up as the words left his mouth.
