08:11 AM ET 08.21 | Derrick Favors may well be on the verge of breakout season. As the 21-year-old showed at times last season and especially in the Jazz's playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs, Mr. Could Be The Next Big Thing's time is quickly coming. In fact, Favors' progression and potential figure to present a challenge for Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin during the 2012-13 season. Start Favors, and let the future begin? Or stick with Mr. Reliable, Paul Millsap, and continue to gradually bring along one of the youngest NBA players with a bright-looking future. The starting debate will be fun for fans and media to banter about over the next few months. ... "I want to play more than what I played last year," Favors admitted. "If it's starting, cool."

Millsap is gonna be lookin for the big contract with the big dough attached to it, so why waste you time with it? Favors is the flavor baby. Ya see, this is what kills me with these teams...engaging themselves in something thats realatively easy to figure out. Same story with my Knicks......there nothin to figure out with Stat.......bench his ass or trade.....its really that simple.
