08:15 AM ET 08.22 | A recruiting edge -- just what USC needed, right? USC dedicated the John McKay Center on Tuesday, but its positive impact already has been felt on the recruiting trail. While the $70 million, 110,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art athletic facility was under construction, football coach Lane Kiffin would show recruits videos of what the building would look like. Now they can walk through it. It's hard to come away unimpressed. "It's a huge advantage," said Kiffin, who has the No. 1 class for 2013, according to Rivals.com. "We were way behind our conference and (the) country. I think we not only caught up, but we probably passed everybody." ... The building's centerpiece is a 33-by-15-foot video wall in the main atrium.

"... Each of the 114 custom lockers features an embedded iPad ... Adjacent to the locker room is a players' lounge, which includes leather couches, flat-screen TVs, a pool table and a Pop-A-Shot."

LOL we'll dazzle 'em with our gadgets!

I thought being USC was a big enough draw? Kind of like being TU?

Why study when you can go to the McKay Center and lounge around on leather couches, play pool, watch TV and play XBox?

Good thing USC(w) doesn't have the College Station sheep molesters, Mizzou whinybutts or Corn Aggy in their conference. Say the phrase "recruiting advantage", those three will start screeching and try to make you tear down the facility.

Well, Mizzou and the Aggies are just happy to be where they are for now.

No mention of the area where the "transactions" take place. Ones involving horizontal transactions such as with Song Girls, or vertical transactions, such as with paper bags changing hands. You know, stuff like that.

The SEC has them in ALL their athletic facilities, so unless LK has them extremely well hidden (which is entirely possible, he DOES have SEC experience), then he doesn't have quite the advantage he thinks he does.
