Samsonov is coming back, but where?

08:18 AM ET 08.22 | Speculation is swirling that Sergei Samsonov might make his way to San Jose, but, according to agent Neil Abbott, the reports are not quite accurate. [One report had Samsonov] headed to camp with the Sharks to fight for a spot on their Opening Night roster. But that's not quite the case right now, though Samsonov's camp and San Jose have had discussions. ... The only thing that's 100 percent accurate: Samsonov is definitely coming back after sitting the 2011-12 hockey season. "Sergei is definitely making a comeback," said Abbott to CSNNE.com. "He is skating with[Igor Larionov] in Detroit, but Larionov is not his agent. I am speaking with several teams and we have not made a deal with the San Jose Sharks."
