08:17 AM ET 08.23 | Classes began at Arizona State on Thursday, which means a little bit more this year to its football players. The big excitement for football players, at least off the field, will come when they get their hands on iPads that are being provided to them for academic and athletic purposes. "We want to be the smartest team and the most disciplined team, and we're going to be using every resource that we can have," ASU coach Todd Graham said Wednesday. He then thanked the athletic administration for literally buying into his vision of what the tablets can do for his players, the majority of whom soon will be receiving an early Christmas present. Information was not immediately available about cost the iPads.

"We want to be the smartest team and the most disciplined team, and we're going to be using every resource that we can have...".

Well, that means you'd better get a different school and different players. ASU ain't known for academics.

Sure different from tattoos where impermissible benefits are concerned.

Now if they tattooed the plays onto the players arms mixed with some art is that impermissible?

GAWD, I hope NOT! That was the strangest game I ever watched. Weird weather with the wind swirling and small tumbleweeds rolling across the field. Kind of freaky. heh heh
