08:18 AM ET 08.23 | In an online poll out of Oregon, nearly 65 percent of voters wanted to see redshirt freshman Marcus Mariota named Oregon's starting quarterback in a race with sophomore Bryan Bennett that may be officially settled before the weekend. [Former Oregon coach Mike Bellotti's] solution: Play two, of course. He thinks it could happen early on in nonconference games against Arkansas State, Fresno State and Tennessee Tech. "I do think they'll both play and I think their schedule is going to allow them to play both quarterbacks early...," Bellotti said. "It will allow them to roll the quarterbacks in and out. And I think by the fourth game they will have a pretty good idea then of who the guy is." And the No. 2 ultimately might not exactly become the odd man out.

That is possible since OU is about to unload their own network on espn just like tx soon... I prefer teams just to get noticed for winning games but unfortunately the all-mighty dollar is all that counts. The pimp SCw to keep people up late night watching meaningless 12pac games and selling ads.

There's a lot of displeasure regarding LHN on Longhorn message boards. The die-hard fans aren't calling up cable providers and demanding LHN, they're grilling Dodds and ESPN instead.
