Wade wanted a piece of the Bulls

08:06 AM ET 08.24 | To be sure, the injury to Derrick Rose helped clear a path to the Heat's title, but Dwyane Wade, for one, wasn't happy to see it happen. The Heat had the East's No. 2 seed, behind the Bulls, until Chicago lost to the eighth-seeded Sixers in the first round. "You just feel bad for him," Wade said of Rose. "We all deal with injuries and every time you deal with an injury, you hope it's not the big one. You hope it won't end your season. So to see a guy like D-Rose, who was battling injuries all year, minor injuries, and then it took its toll. And it was sad to see." ... Wade insists that, as a fan of basketball, it was tough to watch Rose depart early. "We didn't want to see it and we want to play the Bulls. We want to play the best teams."

the better teams? stick it, wade. the Celts gave the Heat all that you can handle and if it weren't for some inexplicable and indefensible calls, your team wouldn't have made it to the finals.

Regardless of whether or not he believes it, the Bulls were going to give them a series if they were healthy. Wade can run his mouth about it all he wants, he knows that they won and nobody can take that from them. He can claim that he wants to play the best teams, but he's full of it. He would have played the Bobcats in the Finals if he could have. And I don't care what happened last year in the ECF. Strange things can happen in the playoffs. Nobody gave the Mavs a chance to win ANY of the series that they were in during their title run.

QUOTE(#15):

What kills me is when the lakers or celtics win it's never questionable about calls, ever! The heat is just the team everybody loves to hate, and quite frankly it's getting old fast.Howard forced his way out of Orlando and he isn't hated?Yes LBJ is from Ohio, he apologized yes?He still supports the community, yes?He did what the haters said he coudn't and that's nice, now we all witness to see if he can do the same thing twice.Fact is he is a champion.Everybody needs to get over the decision, grow up and move the hell on.

People always gripe about calls. I think it's pretty funny that you can honestly claim that people don't cry about calls when LA wins. The '02 WCF is still the standard bearer by which all poorly officiated series' are judged. And people hate the Heat because of the way that they act. The dancing around and acting juvenile. The sideshow crap that they put on. The fact that a guy who was known for collapsing in the playoffs was on stage with a microphone saying that they were going to win not one, not two, not three, etc. THAT'S why people hate the Heat. It's hard to root for players who don't show much class or respect the rest of the league.
