Durant open to more moonlighting

08:08 AM ET 08.24 | For his day job, Kevin Durant wears blue and orange, but he's trying his hand at silver -- the silver screen -- on the side for a role in Thunderstruck. He had originally declined to make the movie, playing himself in a comedy about his prodigious basketball skills being switched with a clumsy teenager and seeing their fortunes reversed. That killed the idea for the film because the producers were only interested in making it with the likable Durant as the star. Then came the lockout. ... He's open to turning his hobbies into something more serious. A hip-hop disc is a possibility for the man who has a studio in his home. So are more movies, now that he's a 5 at acting, by his own estimation.

It was a pretty good movie...for a Walt Disney sport-themed type of movie. A great movie to take the kids to. What other type of movie would you expect KD to do though? Speaks to his character. Good job KD!

Will Cybil Shepherd be involved?

Looks like a good movie. I'll certainly check it out once it arrives on DVD.

Are you kidding me? I just watched the trailer and it looks HORRIBLE. The acting is bad, the story is bad, everything is.

Kd shouldn't have done this project, it's a stupid movie. At least Space Jam with Jordan was good. This isn't.

Even Barkley agrees "it's turrible".
