09:38 AM ET 08.25 | Ronda Rousey seems to have an opinion on everything, so it's no surprise she has taken a hard-line stance about Jon Jones and the cancellation of UFC 151. The Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion, the most recognizable female fighter in the world, told ESPN.com in the UK that Jones has "a responsibility to defend" his UFC light heavyweight title "at anytime against anyone." Jones refused to fight middleweight contender Chael Sonnen on Sept. 1 when expected opponent Dan Henderson pulled out of the UFC 151 main event with a partially torn MCL. Jones and his camp told UFC president Dana White that it wasn???t enough notice and the company had to then cancel the entire card, because it had no main event. Rousey said she "doesn't understand" Jones' line of thinking.

Johnny is thinking to much. Dana will not forget this I assure you, unless $$$$$$$ signs make him forget.

All the fans in an uproar over Jones not wanting to fight Sonnen will be buying any PPV he is in hoping to see him lose.

People keep blaming Jones when in actuality it's Dana's fault... Him cancelling the card cost the UFC money not Jones.. Jones did the smart thing and pulled out of the scam Henderson and Sonnen were plotting the week before... any person with sense can see this...

I know...conspiracy...

And Kennedy was shot for the grassy knoll...Elvis and Jim Morrison are not only alive, they live together...the Trade Center buildings weren't actually destroyed..........

...Henderson faked an injury so a fighter from a different weight class could fight instead??

Did you actually read that before you send it, or do you really believe that stupid thought.

Jon Bonehead Jones was in peak shape. He is 20 pounds heavier. He is younger and just happens to be the best fighter on the planet. To say he can't take the fight after talkign smack is a joke. What more advantage does he want... Anderson Silva as a tag team partner?
Chael is the guy taking all the risks. Chael manned up and Jones wussed out. Part of being a fighter is taking on challenges. Ali fought Foreman when nobody gave him a chance. Jones won't fight Sonnen when nobody gives Chael a chance? He is right, he is not a fighter. He is a gifted but gutless athlete. Willing to risk DUI's but not fights.

Also should give props to Rousey. She will fight Steroid Cyborg. That is taking a serious challenge. I doubt Jones would risk a fight against Alistair Overeem at a catchweight of 220 lbs.

so it's clear you know nothing about MMA, Henderson and Sonnen have been good friends for sometime now, and even Henderson admitted he knew about the injuury for at least a week but was trying to "work through it" and then Sonnen started talking trash out of nowhere. You think he just miraculously got a title shot. Dana white is pissed cause he knew that would be a huge ppv fight because of the hatred for Sonnen the public has and he turned into a prick when he realized his scheme wasn't gonna work. I think Rousey needs to stop kissing dana whites ass and realize he is never gonna put a womens division in ufc. I find it sad that she was just asking jon jones for a nike shirt on twitter a week ago and now she's running her mouth.

Sonnens walk around weight is roughly 225lbs and I'm sure he was at the 205 weight range. Sonnen had the clear advantage preparation wise by helping Henderson train and working with a gameplan for Jones... Jones wouldn't have had time to prep for Sonnen on such short notice... I guess you'd say Machida is a wuss also for not taking the fight on Short notice on card 152 although it's still a month away then right? Your hatred for Jones is blinding what many would consider the right move on Jones part.. use your brain man.. and Jones isn't the best fighter on the planet... Anderson Silva is followed by Jose Aldo. Jones has more growing to do to be the worlds no.1 fighter

So you really think the big conspiracy was to have a mediocre fighter who didnt train for the fight take on the "top 3 fighter in the world" for what reason??

I agree that this was on Dana (dont like him) and not on Jones but Dana actually did something recently (NIKE) to help out Jones, and Jones could have returned a favor and become a Dana favorite along the like of Iceman.

Instead all he did was leave the whole thing on Dana and in turn stuck a lot of undercards out in the cold, fans upset and a guy whos known for holding a grudge a reason to prove no fighter is bigger than the UFC when it comes to money...

Stupid move by Jones camp no matter who is at fault....

Ronda has a real fighter's mentality, Jones does not. Jones is an athlete that only fights for the money. Ronda is a real fighter

August 27, 2012  02:39 PM ET

Oh yeah, right....a big conspiracy. What a joke. Chicken Bones Jones was obviously afraid of Chael and the danger he'd pose to his belt. Dude is a disgrace to the UFC now. Remember when it was a one night tourney and all the different styles clashed? Jones would probably be afraid to do that. "I don't have time to prepare for this next guy". If White asks you do it. No questions. You are either for the company or you can go to Bellator or AxsTV.

August 27, 2012  02:43 PM ET

For those who think Hendo faked it; I guess you didn't read where UFC docs checked it out, too. And remember that Hendo and Sonnen are stablemates but were in different states. Sonnen wasn't with Hendo.

August 27, 2012  03:11 PM ET

Since when does losing to the Middleweight Champ mean you get a title shot against the Light Heavyweight Champ? This is stupid. You want a shot at the title? Earn it. Easy enough.

Sonnen beat the best fighter in the world the first time they fought for four and a half rounds. I'd hardly say he is mediocre. And anyone who knows anything knows that styles make fights and if he isnt prepared for the style of the fighter and it's not his fault the other guy got injured, why should he take the fight? He has the right to make that decision and not care what idiots like you think.

If White asks you to do it? What is he an indentured servant? Jones generates a bunch of money for that guy so I dont think he owes him or his company anything. Look at you preaching loyalty, do you stand up for other fighters the UFC cuts because either they lost a couple fights or arent exciting enough? Where is your outrage for the lack of loyalty there? The fighters back in the old days took those risk so the ones doing it now dont have to. Thats how it goes in almost everything. Hell the first people playing football had leather helmets dude, I'm sure you couldnt get Ray Lewis to lace up one of those.
