10:56 AM ET 08.25 | Is James Anderson headed to Atlanta? Apparently so, if this tweet from Spurs teammate -- er, ex-teammate? -- Danny Green has any validity: Got to show love n shout my guy @25 Anderson out for the new deal with Atlanta -- Congrats man! Bright future ahead Certainly makes sense, what with Danny Ferry now up operations in Hotlanta.

I see this story is out of San Antonio... They might be excited about clearing the spot down the end of the bench :-)

Thin times in Atlanta...

Looked like Anderson had a bright future, but broke his foot his rookie year and needed surgery. Never truly bounced back from that. Hopefully he gets another shot with Atlanta.

Yeah......way down on the depth chart for a team that was VERY deep at the SG/SF positions.

This guy as the ability.....just got lost in the shuffle with the spurs.

Yes, exactly. Danny Green came on strong as well, so not many minutes left for JA.

The Spurs still had him in their summer league to showcase what he could do for other teams. Jacques Vaughn was the summer league coach and kept saying he should be in the nba. Hopefully, he can grow/breakthrough in Atlanta.
