09:51 AM ET 08.26 | Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has agreed to strict guidelines from team officials regarding his conduct away from the field. The guidelines Bryant agreed to took effect Aug. 23 when the team returned to Dallas after three weeks of training camp in California, according to sources. Sources say some of the rules Bryant must abide are as follows: 1. A midnight curfew. If he's going to miss curfew, team officials must know in advance; 2. No drinking alcohol. 3. He can't attend any strip clubs and can only attend nightclubs if they are approved by the team and he has a security team with him. 4. He must attend counseling sessions twice a week. 5. A rotating three-man security team will leave one man with Bryant at all times. 6. Members of the security team will drive Bryant to practices, games and team functions. Bryant's adviser, David Wells, will hire the security team for the wide receiver.

Why would you draft a guy you can't trust?
They forgot one rule:
7. Dez must wipe his own a$$.

It's a shame a grown man needs babysitters, but hey; whatever keeps him out of jail and the newspapers...( didn't work so well with Pacman Jones)

That's the problem, he never grew up. All that security to protect him from himself. I wonder who is paying for that?

Hopefully it would be things like dump your possie
buy a house somewhere and un list your phone and move, sell your old one out from under the crack **** and that leach brother. If you feel the need to have a gun give it to your security gaurd. oh and last but not least save at least 30% of every paycheck in an account you want withdraw from fo 20 years

Even the babysitters can't save these manchildren from themselves.

Didn't they already do this? Wasn't this what Deion was supposed to be doing? It didn't work before and I doubt if it's going to work now.

"Bryant's adviser, David Wells, will hire the security team for the wide receiver."

That is the story, if you believe it. Note: The word hire does not imply who is paying in any world. My guess? ummmm, let us see. JJ just maybe.

Another one of Jerry's kids?

Members of the security team will drive Bryant to practices, games and team functions. Make it a short yellow school bus, give him a hint.

August 26, 2012  11:31 AM ET

Dez needs to find the right path. His security gaurds should take him to church and lead him to Jesus Christ our Saviour.

On the field, he has a new mentor - Jay Novacek.

I'm worried less about Dez now.

They should have added the rule to stay away from momma. His own family seems to be his biggest problem. Can't get away from the problems if you continue to visit with them.
