08:20 AM ET 08.27 | Urban Meyer's track record is all about turning programs around, which is what fans are hoping for in Columbus. The guess here is a 9-3 record for the Buckeyes in 2012, and forced one way or the other, 8-4 sounds more likely than 10-2. That's still pretty good after 6-7 and leaves plenty of room to think about 12, 13 or 14 wins in 2013. ... In 2012, the No. 18 Buckeyes have four teams on the schedule ranked among the top 25 in the preseason AP poll: No. 8 Michigan, No. 12 Wisconsin, No. 13 Michigan State and No. 17 Nebraska. The Buckeyes play Michigan and Nebraska at home and Michigan State and Wisconsin on the road. They play Michigan State and Nebraska to open Big Ten play on Sept. 29 and Oct. 6 and Wisconsin and Michigan to end league play.

That was Gene Smith's infinite wisdom at work.

How he still has a job is beyond me? What has he done?

He inherited Thad Matta and Tressel. The Meyer hire was a good one but it was an easy sell to Meyer. He completely mishandled the NCAA scandal.

If you define Miami (Ohio), UCF, UAB, and Indiana as such, then okay.

That is a murderer's row for sure!
