Laraque calls out Recchi and Roy

08:24 AM ET 08.27 | While not on the scale of the discord at the NHL level, the CHL has its own looming labor strife. [Georges Laraque], appearing on CJAD's The Locker Room on Saturday, says hundreds of former NHL players and junior players have emailed to offer support. But Mark Recchi and Patrick Roy have spoken out against it -- conflict of interest says Big Georges since they are junior owners. Laraque had hoped a key meeting with CHL head David Branch would have taken place Friday, but revealed that the lawyers have postponed that until next week. ... [Laraque] says owners should not and would not threaten a junior lockout because he claims -- "that would be illegal."

In the defence of all named save Buttgoblin, at least they have SOME sort of expertise in how to actually play the game of hockey. Georgie Larry was a fighter, and not that great of one. I dunno, he just bugs me.

The CHL owners are supposedly raking in millions ive heard and the players get almost nothing....and now theres word that the players want a union.....yup why should we be surpised eh....another hockey league trying to screw the players over for money.
