Benson may spell end of Starks in Green Bay

08:02 AM ET 08.28 | Cedric Benson has done his part. With [Benson] wasting no time establishing himself as the Packers' new No. 1 running back, we hear James Starks, who continues to have big problems staying healthy -- he is currently sidelined with turf toe -- could be in real danger of getting cut. Both Alex Green, who is in the early stages of regaining the explosiveness he possessed before tearing his ACL last October, and Brandon Saine, who is versatile and does not make mistakes, look like better bets to stick around than Starks. Of the Packers' eight draft choices, we hear the most likely to get released is fifth-round LB Terrell Manning, who could have a real tough time beating out Robert Francois, Jamari Lattimore and Brad Jones.

Benson is going to be a big pick-up for the Packers... And the Defense is going to be the beneficiary.

Mmm. The lad's got recurring problems. He's also a bit of a stoner and puts the ball on the ground. He can be good, but he also seems to seek out tacklers. 50-50 at this point.

Got new for ya.......its not gonna make any difference to Big Blue. Been there, done that. The Pack is the same exact story in NFC Conf. championship games as the Pats in the Superbowl when facing the Blue..........choke time and the Blue reigns....same deal!

If you can't make the GB defense, you must be pretty bad.

I'd be sad to see Starks go, but in TT we trust.

It's amazing how many people hate the Packers, and ......

Their state doesn't even have a team......OR
They hate them because THEIR team can never make the playoffs......OR
The Packers keep beating THEIR team.

Lucky for the 15 teams that lost to them last year they had such a loser team.
