08:15 AM ET 08.28 | Roger Clemens said Monday he didn't have any further pitching performances on his schedule, at least not at the moment. "Not at this point," Clemens said after his opening round in the Golf.com World Amateur Handicap Championship. "That could change in a couple days, but right now we haven't talked to any of the guys or anything like that." Clemens planned a run on the beach following his round of 84 and said his right arm "feels fine." "This is good for it, good exercise," he said. "We'll do a little cardio [Monday] and try to get some more of that soreness out. It's good soreness though." ... His fastball was clocked at 88 mph and he mixed in curveballs and split-finger fastballs during the outing.

Rocket could stand to lose a few pounds. He's gotten pudgy over time.

Something tells me that this is not going to be the thread of choice today ha ha.

Cue the circus music.

Just a publicity stunt. Not bad I guess for a 50-year-old juicer. Moyer hung in there (in the show that is) until 49 and as far as we know did it cleanly.

That's the thing about not being on the juice - you get sore!

I'm sure there's a drug for that.

I was a little too tall
Could've used a few pounds
Tight pants points hardly reknown
She was a black-haired beauty with big dark eyes
And points all her own sitting way up high
Way up firm and high

Clemens is in no hurry. He's probably got enough drugs in him to pitch into his late 60's.
