08:22 AM ET 08.28 | The National Hockey League has decided it will operate Glendale's hockey facility for another month, though resolution remains elusive. The long-stalled Phoenix Coyotes sale has the city of Glendale in some financial limbo, and the city is privately studying options if Greg Jamison's year-long bid to buy the hockey team doesn't come to fruition. Interim city manager Horatio Skeete has told the Glendale City Council that refinancing of city debt related to the Camelback Ranch spring training ballpark can't get done because banks won't play ball with the city while the Coyotes sale is unresolved. City staff is developing contingency plans based on various scenarios with the Coyotes and other budget issues. The city is also looking at how to handle a temporary sales tax increase and its possible reversal.

You go that right. In all my life, I have never seen a "temporary" tax increase.
Here's an idea, sue the NHL for the lost income from failing to resolve the matter. Will it work? Probably not? Would it be fun to try? Absolutely!
