Barry Sanders has a few words for Dez Bryant

08:03 AM ET 08.29 | Let the record show that Barry Sanders has tried. While discussing Dez Bryant's off-the-field problems, Sanders, who won the 1988 Heisman Trophy while attending Oklahoma State, focused on the rare opportunity Bryant, an OSU product, is getting to play for a well-respected organization and an owner like Jerry Jones. ... "He wants to win and he demands a lot of his players. You're playing for one of the storied franchises in sports. So I don't know if Mr. Bryant understands all that at this point. But I think what I would say is that no matter what has happened to you in your life, you don't get a chance to become allies with someone like a Jerry Jones very often in your life. Take advantage of that."

Happy 43rd Birthday to Mick Jr.

I'm concerned about Dez Bryant.

Has that become a cliche?

That picture again! Doing the zombie dance!

Words like pull your pants up, don't hit your Mama and stop acting like a Richard-cranium?

Respected?
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I'm all tapped out on this guy. I got nothin'!

How about...

"Jerry Jones bought a wetsuit because he thought it was new business attire from Depends."

Good words from Barry, unfortunately, that dog won't hunt.

Easy Homer. The football world doesn't revolve around Pittsburgh either (or Dallas for that matter). Jerry's a good owner (willing to spend $$$) but he's a terrible GM. Dallas is still a respected organization from a historical perspective despite current ownership's failings.

Barry to Dez, "Quit while you're ahead."

Jerry Jones could be a good a freind to have, I wouldn't trust him, but Dez can't trust himself either.

Go back to sleep, Steve.

Dez is just trying to help the Cowboys keep up with tyne Lions and Bengals for most arrests.

I wonder if the style of wearing your pants lower and lower (as Dez is fond of) will eventually morph into wearing your boxer shorts outside of your pants altogether? Now that would be some in-your-face statement of "I'm a dumb ass, so what about it?"

Ask TO about how he feels,
regarding Jerry Jones' trustworthyness.

Better yet, ask the folks that bought seats in Jerry's Super Bowl fiasco and were left outside, how they feel about Jerry's trustworthiness.

And let's not forget the lady who claimed she was burned by JJ's "hot seat" outside the stadium.

Barry was everything right about football while growing up... Jerry was everything that was wrong...

Barry - I'd appreciate it if you could get a few "one-on-one" minutes with young Dez.

The kid could use as many positive role models as possible to counteract that crack-head momma and leech brother.
