Giants DT goes on Twitter rant over video game

08:04 AM ET 08.29 | Marcus Thomas wants the record set straight. Take a quick look at @MarcusThomas_79 on Twitter and you can learn a couple of things about the Giants defensive tackle. [Thomas] loves to tell jokes and "will work for practice squad money." He also "hates" the creators of Madden '13 - EA Sports -- for putting an "imposter" in place of his profile picture on the newly released video game. "I been in the nfl going on 6years and y'all still hav another mans face for my pick on madden," Thomas tweeted on Tuesday. "I hate yall hate is very strong but I do." Thomas can live with a below-average player rating (76) in the popular game. However, he says can't live with the "disrespect" Madden's creators have shown in the video game's last three versions.

someone needs to tell Thomas that the abbreviation for picture is not pick....the big difference between a reporter with a mic and twitter is that twitter lets people know when you're illiterate...

He has t look at the upside of it all. If Canty did not have bad wheels and Austin a bad back and Rogers bad blood, he would not even be on any roster. Madden could very well be the only team he is on this year.

I love that the Marcus Thomas link provided in this story goes to the wrong Marcus Thomas. I guess Madden isn't the only institution disrespecting him.

Well I'll say this much for him......."He's a New York Giant" and with that comes all the disrespect from all across the Nation.....haters galore. Wear the blue and be proud of it. The New York Giants take respect and you should now that by now, you've only be with us for six years and two rings later, so shake it off and do what the Blue do and thats win.
Look you're the reigning world champ as such you don't have to listen to any of the garbage from Pats, Packers and 49ers fans. The Blue left a loud and clear message to those fans. The last two times we traveled to SF in conf. championships...Giants 2-0, in Packersland 2-0......in the Superbowl vs. Pats 2-0, I mean c'mon the message was left rather loudly so we Giants fans aren't interesting in anything their fans have to say as it relates to us. Its the same deal with teams you play twice a year, hence Boys/Eagles, they are always picked to win the division, superbowl and whatever else you can think of and how's that been working out for them lately.........thought so, so calm down fellow and be a Giant....wear the blue prouldly.
