General manager Mike Tannenbaum, who has to be held accountable since he makes the final decisions on these things, is running out of scapegoats. In place of one disappointing right tackle in Hunter, Tannenbaum traded for another disappointing right tackle in Jason Smith, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2009 draft. Smith, who will make the same $2.45 million salary Hunter was guaranteed this season, is injury prone and has played in just 29 games in the past three seasons.
