08:18 AM ET 08.29 | At 6-foot-7 and 278 pounds, Will Gholston should be easy to spot, and he made himself impossible to miss Tuesday. "If you go undefeated, there's only one place you can go," he said of the BCS title game. "That's the goal, really. And not to have anybody score on us." Specific expectations on sacks, tackles, accolades and attention from NFL scouts don't invade his mind-set, he insisted after Tuesday's practice. And no, he said, he doesn't give much thought to the fact that many draft analysts project him to go in the first round in April. "I did that myself when I was a little kid," he said with a laugh. ... Gholston said he got stronger and faster in the off-season, but he devoted a chunk of his time to independent game film study.

"If you go undefeated, there's only one place you can go," he said of the BCS title game.

Question: Is an undefeated Sparty team better than a one loss Bama, LSU, USC, Oregon, Oklahoma, FSU, etc, etc, etc?

All those threads were deleted during FN's cleanup project.

Well, in that case, Sparty would have a win over that powerhouse on the smurf turf, plus their murderer's row schedule...

They play Ohio State, and they play Michigan, Wisconsin & Nebraska back-to-back-to-back. Just sayin ...

Going undefeated is no guarantee of anything. Just ask any Aubie fan.

Simple answer, no for Bama, LSU, USC, ORE, FSU.
Undefeated season would carry more weight for a one loss Oklahoma. IMO.

Gholston? It should read Golson.
Golson's goal: An undefeated season.

They play the smurfs in East Lansing I believe. And even though I don't buy Gordon Gee's "murderer's row" comment, Sparty's schedule does look decent. They play Central and Eastern Michigan but that may be to help little bro. Other than that, they have Murderer's Row members Minne and Indiana but they have no choice on those. They also have Michigan, Wisky and Nebraska back to back to back.

They shouldn't have played those 2 FCS cupcakes. Serves them right.

Yeah, it is actually a pretty good schedule, especially with Mich and Wisky both being road games. And you're right, the smurfs are coming to their place.

ACC, SEC, 12PAC love but no Big 12-2 love huh?

Or anti Zero U love?

As for comparing them to potential 1 loss teams, it would depend on who those teams lost to.

A shame they say that, and then lose the first game up.

No way. Boise lost a lot...more than Moore!
