08:15 AM ET 08.31 | Dwyane Wade, who returned to the court recently for some light workouts, is about to hit the road to promote his new book. Among the unexpected basketball morsels from a book with a far greater overall message than sports ... Of Pat Riley stepping aside as coach in favor of Spoelstra in 2008, he notes it happened, "without much explanation given for his change in thinking." ... Of breaking into the NBA under Stan Van Gundy, he writes, "Coach Van Gundy has a voice that rings in your ears and get underneath your skin. Always on edge, he coached from a state of high alert." ... In his darkest days of a difficult youth, he turned to watching "Knight Rider" alongside his grandmother, writing, "I actually told David Hasselhoff how he helped me get through the tough times in childhood."

I always was amused by the sound effects used for $6mil man ('Bionic' was for the lady). I imagined a jack hammer sound whenever $6mil Man & Bionic Woman went into a room together.
