Knicks set to unveil new uniforms

08:15 AM ET 08.31 | Not long after the Nets showed off their new look, the Knicks are making a sartorial switch of sorts, too. Their new jerseys will be unveiled next Thursday, a club official said. Amar'e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler will model the new jerseys, though one person familiar with the situation said the change is "not major." The last time the Knicks had significant uniform alterations was 2001, when a thick bands of blue on the sides were removed. The Knicks' color scheme has been orange, blue and white -- the city's official colors -- except for 1979-83 when red was added. The change is also an attempt to sell more jerseys but their leading jersey-seller last year, Jeremy Lin, is now with the Rockets.

Knicks should have signed Lin if they really wanted to sell more jerseys. Imagine what would happen if Lin excels in Houston and Knicks are no better than they were last year. I won't be surprised if there are people wearing Lin's Rocket jersey every game if Knicks is doing terrible.

Look, we are the New York Knicks and as such, we certainly don't need "Jeremy Love" to sell jerseys or to sellout the MSG. We wish his little "Hot to Trot" **** the very best. All you Lin Lovers watch his buster **** in Rocketsland and keep quiet and move on...Knicks fans have.
On another note...in a week or or myself and other New Yorkers will be the ones tellin you cats to get your teams act together in the NFL because the New York Football Giants are reigning champs and a lotta cats got their mouths shut last season. You can always bank on a champion in New York whether its th Yankees, Giants or whatever....."the world will be watchin NYC.......bank on it.
