Notre Dame teaching the Irish some football

08:21 AM ET 08.31 | Notre Dame players didn't get much sleep, but they had a lot of fun upon arriving in Dublin. Tyler Eifert -- ND's All-American tight end -- was asked by one reporter for his name, how to spell it, and what position he played. Manti Te'o left a few locals stunned when he compared the chilly, windy weather to his native Hawaii. And Kapron Lewis-Moore was asked if he could explain how American football works to the Irish viewing audience. "It's hard to explain in a short time," Lewis-Moore said. "It's one of those conversations you need to sit down for." He then proceeded to put on his helmet and demonstrate proper tackling techniques to a giddy reporter. "We've only been here a few hours, but it's been fun so far," Eifert said. "Everybody is so nice and happy to see us."

They should have got there a week ago, 6 hour difference, it really has some serious jet lag and some serious adjusting, have done it, know it for sure.

It's easy if you are young. ; )

Uhh ... they would have missed classes. I think players have to go to class a ND.

jet lag for me is when i come back to my time zone than when i go to another time zone-the irish start a pivotal season-they have to win the first 4 games-i know some will say they cant beat msu and michigan-last year nd beat msu 38-10 and lost a game to mic.even their fans thought was lost-hate them or love them nd brings out the most spirited debate about their revelance in college football-im an irish fan because for the the most part they do things right-suspend or dismiss players when they screw up-they have true student athletes-i know this will get skewered but thats ok because i know im right-i know nd needs to step up their game now and win so nd nation can sit back and smile-go irish
