10:09 AM ET 09.01 | Subscribers of AT&T U-Verse woke up Friday morning to the Longhorn Network, a major win for the ESPN brainchild that has been mostly a mystery since its launch August of 2011. It can be seen on channel 1609, for those who have U-Verse. The Longhorn Network went unseen by many over the course of a year, appearing only on Grande, Verizon FiOS and a handful of smaller cable providers. AT&T U-Verse is available in 22 U.S. states and has added more TV subscribers in the last three years than any other major cable TV provider.

Too bad they still aren't on any real major TV provider, like DirecTV.

I just found out that I get the B10 Network with my Direct tv minimum package, I already had the SEC Network. Did not know that.

I thought Direct tv dropped the BigTen network? Guess not.

If it's almost a sport, it's on The Ocho!

Heh. I've had the B1G network since I got U-Verse. They are weird about how they structure their tiers. The tier I'm on, I get the B1G, but not CBS college sports. I get the NFL network, but not NBA or MLB. Can't figure them out.

Maybe they have over 10,000 subscribers now?

They actually dropped the WAC network... Right about the time that the WAC dropped their football programs.

I can not find Fox Sports though? Or FX Sports, or whatever. Had it with Dish, not with Direct.

Colonel, FX is 248; Fox is 676 on directv

Chan 610, BTN, Miami Ohio @ tOSU in 32 minutes on it. 613 is CBS SN.

Also... BTN has a number of alternate channels I "turn on" during the football season. 611, 612, 609 & 615.

And... He should also program 675-1 for the regional sports channel. Dallas Channel 21 is blacked out in my area but 675-1 carries all of the Rangers games that are broadcast on Ch21

My mistake - it was Mountain West.
