There's national signing day, and then there's "Signing Day" <wink wink nod nod take the envelope>. Either way don't expect the NCAA to catch a whiff of any wrongdoings.

I didn't get to see any of it over here. Caught some highlights on espn, and read about it. Got to stop the turnovers.

If Emmert & Co. can't find anything wrong at UNC with athletes not attending fake classes and receiving grades in fake classes and receiving fake degrees amidst all the other stuff that went on ... what makes anyone think Miami is going to get hammered?

Back this week end. Youngest daughter got herself into grad school in Jyvaskula (yew' vas ku la), and mom and dad came over to help her get set, and do some sight seeing. Wife is half Finnish on her dad's side, so we're having a blast.

Totally agree. This only encourages schools to not cooperate with the NCAA.

I was shocked when Emmert said the NCAA didn't find any wrongdoings. Roger Goodell would have kicked their arses!

I was glad when they hammered USC and Penn State, because their primary role is to ensure rules are followed. To not address academic fraud at UNC is beyond comprehension.

Let's face it; the NCAA is a COMPLETE JOKE. If it affects their money grab they'll look the other way. Why else did they institute graduation rate requirements for entry into the basketball tourney while leaving football unaffected? $$$$$$$$$ at steak in looking to deeply into the $EC.
Allowing NO SHOW classes and free cars is just the tip of the iceberg the NCAA doesn't want exposed.
